Mike Piazza book signing at Vromans Bookstore

Wednesday 20th at Vromans bookstore in Pasadena Mike Piazza was doing a book signing. There were strict instructions that no memorabilia was going to be signed, only his book. I decided to take a ball just in case he was willing to sign after the event. people waited outside the store and when he came out he waved and apologized that he had no time due to a flight he had to catch, so no one got anything signed.
If we wanted it a photo it had to be from the line and an employee would take it. Here i am shaking hands with Piazza
It felt pretty rushed but worth driving out to Pasadena to meet one of my favorite Dodgers of all time. Here is my signed copy

Dennis Rodman at ESPN ZONE

On sunday the 17th i decided to head down to the ESPN Zone at LA Live to attend the book signing for Dennis Rodmans new children's book titled Dennis the wild bull. When i had arrived there were only about 30 people in line. The staff that worked there had gone through the line and had told everyone that Dennis would only be signing his book and no memorabilia. I had taken a basketball with me just in case he would be signing stuff other than his book. here pictured is his book.
Here is his signature on the inside first page.
So the deal was i could get my basketball autographed only if i bought 2 more books at $20 a pop. I didnt want to leave empty handed so i bought a total of 3 books which he signed all three. Here is a pic of Rodman and i with my signed ball.

Lakers practice facility in El Segundo

i decided to head out to el segundo to check out the Lakers facility for the first time ever. i wasn't sure where i neede to stand or what time the Lakers were going to be done with practice. i spoke with the guard at the gate and he informed me of where and when to wait due to the practice session being closed to the public. the first person to sign for me was Earl Clark, my favorite Laker this year
Next up was Robert Sacre
coach Mike D'Antoni came out and signed for us, there was roughly about 15 people there at the facility looking for autographs.
Jim Buss signed and took photos
so here is the end result, i also got Darius Morris and Chris Duhon to sign my Spalding ball, but i had to run to my truck to charge my phone so i didn't get to take their photos. none of the starters signed for anyone, they would either honk or wave to us thats it. it was a little upsetting considering there was only a hand full of people there asking for autos. but for my first time being there i would say it was a success!

Usc Trojans alumni game sunday feb 10th

though i went there hoping to see Mark Mcgwire or Randy Johnson, i knew the chances of them being there were slim.

there was a alot of old timers there, the one player i did know was Ron Fairly, he was very nice and i was able to have him sign my romlb on the sweet spot.

Venus Williams at Sports Chalet

went down to sports chalet in los angeles to meet venus williams. she had arrived late so she agreed on staying an extra hour. the line was moving pretty slow due to the fact that she was alowing photos to be taken with her and a one item per person event. by the time we got to the front of the line they did away with the photo ops to get the line moving faster. here is a pic of her signing a photo for me.
there is the photo in a frame i had picked up at michaels
here is the tennis ball my wife had her sign. it was her first time attending a signing event with me
